Diede Smith holds a Master of Science in International Development Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology, both from the University of Amsterdam. Her topics of interest include intersections of inequality, North-South relations, international development, and Eastern Africa. Previously, she worked at two small non-profits where she helped to connect refugees with other people and organizations in Amsterdam. In her role as a Project Manager, she hopes to bring together her interest in international development with innovative applications to global health.
