Dominique holds a Master in International Business Negotiation (Université François Rabelais, France) and a Master in Migration Studies, Development and Social Intervention with a specialization in applied research (Universidad de Almeria, Spain). Dominique joined AIGHD as project manager. Before joining AIGHD, Dominique worked as research officer at the International Migration Institute of the University of Oxford.
Her research interests include the role of welfare systems in migration and immobility, tensions between objective and subjective well-being in migration processes, and mobilities to access healthcare. Besides her work at AIGHD, Dominique is a fellow of the International Migration Institute Network (IMIn) and a member of the IMISCOE Research Network. She is affiliated to the University of Almeria where she collaborates with the CEMyRI. She also collaborates with the Department of International Development of the University of Oxford on the MobileWelfare project that aims to understand the role of welfare systems in destination and origin countries for migration patterns within and towards Europe.
