Hai V Nguyen graduated from Hanoi Medical University as a medical doctor and started his career in tuberculosis (TB) control in 2017. At that time, he took part in the 2^nd National TB prevalence survey in Vietnam as a member of the Technical and Secretarial Committee, and after that as the lead of the data management and analysis team. Now he works as the coordinator of the Vietnam Integrated Centre for TB and Respirology Research – Vietnam National Tuberculosis Programme. He has started his PhD programme since 2019 under the guidance of Professor F.G.J Cobelens, using the data of the 2^nd prevalence survey in Vietnam. He has been a member of the Amsterdam Public Health Junior Council since February 2021.
