Ilona Sips holds a Master’s Degree in International Public Health and Science Communication. She has extensive research experience in Africa, including leading a three-year research programme measuring the quality of home-based care in rural South Africa. After working in South Africa, she moved to the UK to work for AVERT as programme and information manager and later with the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development (CAFOD) in both the HIV and the humanitarian team. Currently, she is the scientific project manager of the Test and Treat study, responsible for management of the project and specifically data quality management.
Her research interests include quality of health care and health-related quality of live in low- and middle-income countries.
