Ivan SSerwadda

Ivan Sserwadda is currently a PhD fellow under the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (AIGHD) and the CAGE-TB project where he focuses on exploiting Microbiome studies to understand the progression and pathogenesis of Tuberculosis in Uganda. He holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science. He is equipped with over 10 years work experience and research in the fields of antimicrobial resistance, genomics and bioinformatics as applied to the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases in which he has translated into numerous publications (ORCID: 0000-0001-7785-7297).
