Dr. Lisette Schutte is a Solution Lead at PharmAccess and an Associate Fellow at the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development (AIGHD). She is a behavioural scientist with over a decade of experience in global health, specialising in the development and implementation of digital and behaviour change interventions in low- and middle-income settings.

Her work focuses on strengthening health systems through user-centred design, data use and private sector engagement. She has led programmes across Africa, the Caribbean and Europe in areas including sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, and malaria control. Recently, she has been working on digital AI-driven approaches to improve malaria diagnosis and surveillance in the private sector.

Lisette holds a PhD in behavioural change from Maastricht University and has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications. She is particularly interested in bridging implementation and research, and in translating real-world programmes into evidence that can inform policy and practice.
