Megan holds a Master of Science degree in Medical Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and a bachelor’s degree in Human Development. She worked in surgical research development at Mass. General Hospital in Boston for three years. Prior to that she spent two years in Uganda working on community health projects. During her time at the UvA, she researched how obtaining care for Long COVID influenced patients’ trust in medical systems and impacted their future care-seeking behaviors. In addition to her work at AIGHD she hopes to publish the findings of her research.
