Nursena Aksünger holds a BA in Economics from Istanbul Technical University and MSc in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in Economics at Vrije University, Amsterdam under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wendy Janssens and Prof. Dr. Menno Pradhan. Her project aims to understand how poverty and mental health are interlinked. In addition, she is a part-time researcher at PharmAccess Foundation with a focus on maternal care. She is involved in the iPUSH and MomCare projects.
