Rozina Tariku Assefa is a public health specialist working at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute, recently as the acting director for disease and health events surveillance and response directorate. Previously, she worked at the national public health institute as a public health emergency response expert. She received a BSc degree in public health from Arbaminch University in 2012 and a general master’s of public health (GMPH) from Addis Ababa University in 2016.
