08 Nov 4th Edition Internship Fair
Together with AHTI and other partner institutes, AIGHD co-hosted the 4th edition of the ‘Internship Fair‘ on November 7, 2017. The annual event is designed to provide students from a range of academic backgrounds with professional networking and internship opportunities.
Researchers from AIGHD and partner organizations presented their projects to approximately 50 students. Research topics included Streptococcus suis zoonosis, unknown Encephalopathies in children, languages and well-being in Africa, and costing of Hepatitis C treatment in Cameroon. Following the presentations, students were able to talk to the researchers in an informal setting to learn more about the projects and internship opportunities.
