Masters

In collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU), we offer the two-year Research Master in Global Health. We coordinate several curriculum elements of this program, which has been running since 2012. To learn more about these programs, specifically about the elective courses we have offered in the past, read this story about AIGHD’s role in educating the global health leaders of the future.

We host scientific research internships for Master’s students, allowing students to gain ‘hands-on’, real-world skills in global health research. Students come from a variety of disciplines including Medicine, Global Health, Health Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, and Public Health. Many research internships include international fieldwork and experiential collaboration with local communities, researchers, and institutions. (Read about students’ experiences here).
