Marjan Molemans completed her Master’s Degree in Public Health Sciences with a specialization in Epidemiology at the Karolinska Institute (Stockholm) in 2017. During her studies in Sweden she worked voluntarily for a NGO on a project to improve maternal and newborn health in Uganda. She has also studied Sociology (KU Leuven) and Development Studies (University of Antwerp). Since July 2017, she is a Junior Epidemiologist at AIGHD working on projects studying HIV, tuberculosis and a hookworm vaccine.
