Perry Msoka

Perry Cyril Msoka was born in 1983 in Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. She is a social scientist at Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute (KCRI) with experience in doing mixed methods research. She is a second-year PhD student at the Amsterdam Institute of Social Science Research (AISSR) focused on implementing point-of-care HIV viral load monitoring to improve viral load suppression among Children and Adolescents living with HIV in East Africa. In the EAPOC project, she works as a coordinator for organizing and overseeing various tasks and ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively. She is also responsible for scheduling meetings, coordinating the efforts of a team and ensuring that deadlines are met. In some cases, she is also responsible for managing budgets, communicating with stakeholders and providing updates on the progress of a project East Africa point of care Viral load study (EAPOC-VL) funded by European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP). She is affiliated with the Amsterdam Institute of Global Health and Development (AIGHD) as a PhD fellow.
Her promotor is at KTI, Prof Anita Hardon and co-promotors are Prof Ria Reis and Dr. Marion Sumari-de Boer from Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development. She is happy to be a member of the KTI group.
